Security is always a concern while online. Check with your bank and see what they have to offer you. But here are a couple things to watch for while online:
- Look for a padlock: When you are on a secure site your computer should show a padlock in the bottom corner of your browser. This will tell you they are encrypting your information as you send it to safeguard your information. Some times browsers will have a pop up box telling you that you are entering a secure site.
- The address: the address you type in is a URL. This means Uniform Resource Locators. The internet street address so to speak. This will be a secure address when you see an ‘s’ after the http. An example would be: https://
