Remember a few things while you are banking online, especially if you’re on a public computer.
- DON’T have more than one browser open at a time. This gives hackers access through that browser into the one you are using for banking.
- DON’T give out your credit card information unless you know who you are giving it to and what they want it for. You could be giving it to a hacker and they would have your accounts cleaned out before you logged off.
- DON’T click on links you don’t know about or open files unless your sure as what they are. You could be opening a virus and give it to everyone else on your network. This could crash your computer and clean off your hard drive in an instant. Your information will never be recovered.
