What is Credit Scoring?

When people look at your credit report to determine your credit score they look at the following things and compare them to other consumer’s reports to determine points for your credit score. This will help them determine if you will repay back your loan or not. Here are the things they look for:

  • Bill Paying History
  • Different types of accounts you may have at banks.
  • Late Payments
  • Outstanding Debt You may have.
  • The age of your accounts you have

This will determine whether you can be approved for your loan or anything else you may need with your credit report. As long as you do not have bad outstanding debts, or a history of late payments, or not paying at all it will help you get a better score on your credit report.
